The Capital
The City of Charleston has the priviledge of being the capital of West Virginia. This lovely city sits at the meeting of the Elk and Kanawha Rivers and houses the Capitol Building.

My County
Beautiful Raleigh County, West Virginia is located in the central, southern part of the state and is named for Sir Walter Raleigh, a well-known British historical figure who felt strongly about colonizing the New World.
My City
Beckley, West Virginia is the county seat of Raleigh County and is a city of history and character. It is named for John James Beckley who served in the early government of the United States under President George Washington. One of Beckley's most visited attractions is the Exhibition Coal Mine, an educational look at West Virginia's Coal History.
